Doc’s Doggie Daycare Policies
Our Policies
How to enroll your doggie at Doc’s: Simply fill out the online Application, Emergency Authorization, and Health Agreement forms and arrange to have a copy of your pup’s up-to-date vaccination records sent to us via email or hard copy.
All customers must fill out an application, emergency authorization, and health and temperament agreement for each dog. These forms can be filled out online and are automatically submitted to Doc’s email. They can also be filled out in person.
It's recommended that all dogs have an initial evaluation day of daycare ($11 non-refundable). The purpose of this evaluation day is to make sure the open play environment is appropriate for your dog. All large-breed dogs are required to have an evaluation day of daycare prior to their first boarding stay. Smaller and/or older dogs’ evaluation days may be waived at the discretion of the staff. Eval days for out-of-town clients may also be waived at the discretion of Doc’s ownership/management. Eval days require reservations.
All adult dogs over six months of age must be spayed or neutered for daycare and boarding services.
All services, except daycare for dogs who are already enrolled, require reservations. Please contact us to make a reservation.
Exception: Boarding services can be offered to established clients in emergency situations without a reservation.
All vaccinations—including Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella—must be current. IMPORTANT: Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccine must be current within six (6) months. Doc’s can administer 6-month intranasal Bordetella vaccine for a cost of $13.
Doc’s recommends that all dogs be on flea prevention program and monthly heartworm preventative. This is the responsibility of the dog owner.
Dogs must be brought in on a leash or carried.
Any dog entering the facility with visible fleas or ticks will be administered a flea bath at the cost of $10 for large dogs and $5 for small dogs. This is not a full grooming service.
Boarding dogs that come without food (or run out of food) will be fed Doc’s house food at a cost of $4 per day.
For safety reasons, clients are not allowed to enter doggie playrooms unless accompanied by a Doc’s staff member.
For safety reasons, clients are not permitted to enter the outside doggie play area or lean on/climb/touch the fencing.
Facility tours are offered by appointment or at the discretion of staff.
For PM pickups following a boarding stay, clients will pay a reduced rate of $13 for the final day of daycare. This is known as Daycare after Boarding.
Bedding and toys will be provided. Clients are also welcome to provide their own bedding and toys. The client acknowledges that items may be lost or destroyed and agrees to not hold Doc's liable for lost or destroyed items.
